Special Education
Pickerington Schools is committed to meeting the needs of all students. If your child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a 504 Plan, or requires specialized support, our Special Education Team is here to help with a smooth transition. Students must be enrolled before the team can discuss their needs.
Student Media Opt-Out Form
Our District loves to celebrate students’ accomplishments—like awards, classroom projects, fine arts participation, and other achievements. Sometimes we share these moments on our website, social media, videos, print publications, and in school yearbooks. This may include student photos, names, school, grade, teacher’s name, and examples of their artwork or writing.
Default consent: Unless we hear otherwise, your child may be included in these celebrations. If you prefer your child not be included in district-managed recognition or yearbook pictures, you must complete the online opt-out form, annually, HERE
Important Information:
- If the form is not submitted, it will be considered implied consent for your child to participate.
- The opt-out takes effect on the date your completed online form is successfully submitted.
- Please submit the form by the start of the school year to ensure your preferences are applied.
