Pickerington High School Central Junior Earns National Speech & Debate Honor

Pickerington Local Schools is proud to recognize Pickerington High School Central Junior Lilly Hunt for earning the Merit Degree (first level) in the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) Honor Society

The NSDA Honor Society (also known historically as the National Forensic League) recognizes middle school and high school students for participation and achievement in speech and debate activities. Students earn points through competition and involvement, and each new degree represents continued growth through learning, practice, and improvement.

To earn the Merit Degree, students must accumulate 25 points, marking an important milestone within the Honor Society.

As students continue earning points, they progress through additional Honor Society degrees—each one recognizing their dedication, progress, and commitment to excellence in communication and critical thinking.

Congratulations to Lilly on this outstanding achievement, and best wishes as she continues her speech and debate journey!
