Pickerington North Seniors Earn Prestigious National Honors and Scholarships
We are proud to recognize Pickerington North seniors Fenet Mekonnen and Amira Bzdafka for exceptional academic accomplishments that reflect both academic excellence and outstanding leadership.
Fenet Mekonnen has earned a full academic scholarship to Columbia University, totaling nearly $500,000 — an extraordinary achievement that speaks to years of dedication, perseverance, and academic rigor.
In addition, Amira Bzdafka has received nominations from both Congressman Troy Balderson and Senator Jon Husted to the United States Naval Academy and the Merchant Marine Academy Officer Candidacy School — a rare and highly competitive honor that highlights Amira’s character, leadership, and commitment to service.
