Important updates for tonight and tomorrow

We’re following up with a few important updates regarding today’s school closure and tomorrow’s schedule.

We know many families received today’s school closure notification later than expected, and we apologize for the delay.

Our team worked to get the information out as quickly as possible through our communication channels. As a reminder, keeping your contact information current in Infinite Campus helps ensure you receive important District notifications.

Here are the important updates for tonight and tomorrow:

TONIGHT: AUGUST 20, 2026

Tonight’s Open House for the Pickerington Early Learning Center will take place as scheduled from 4:00–6:00 p.m.

TOMORROW: AUGUST 21, 2026

At this time, we anticipate a return to the regular school schedule tomorrow. We will communicate with families later this afternoon if anything changes.

PKC kindergartners will have their third and final day of staggered starts tomorrow, August 21. ALL kindergartners first full day of school will now be moved to Monday, August 24, 2026.

As of now, athletics and extracurriculars are on. Please contact your child's athletic office to confirm.
