Family Engagement Council – Session II Family Update

Family Engagement Council – Session II Family Update

During the FEC second session on November 3, 2025, FEC members were grouped by vested interest areas based on the key themes identified during Session #1. Each group focused on developing actionable strategies aligned to their theme, ensuring their collective work reflected the voices and needs of families across Pickerington Schools.

Each group conducted a SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) to assess current practices and identify potential growth areas within their designated theme.

This collaborative process ensured that our collective work reflected the diverse voices (of those in the room, our next phase is to share with a broader and more diverse community), perspectives, and needs of families within the district.

Themes, Goals & Next Steps

FEC members' next steps are to share their group goals and action steps with their community/circle of influence to gather feedback for the FEC to consider in preparation.

Next Steps for FEC Members
Each FEC group is asked to share their goals and proposed action steps within their personal and professional circles including families, neighbors, colleagues, and community networks. The purpose of this outreach is to gather feedback, perspectives, and additional ideas that the Council can review and consider as they continue refining our collective action plan.

Your insights and the input you share will help ensure that our next meeting reflects the voices and priorities of the broader Pickerington community.
