Meeting Agenda

Tonight’s Regular Board Business Meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will open with routine business items, followed by presentations from Woolpert Consultants regarding the district’s attendance boundary redistricting planning process and from Food Services. The agenda also includes public participation, the Superintendent’s Update, and the Treasurer’s Report. The Board will consider approval of the consent agenda, including personnel recommendations and supplemental contracts, early graduation requests, and Class of 2026 graduates. Items for discussion and possible action include OHSAA membership, an Academic Services contract, an addendum to 2026-2027 elementary and middle school fees, a Bluum quote for Newline panels, a resolution regarding both full and partial reductions in force (RIFs) of certificated employee contracts, and an addendum to the teacher contract. Discussion-only items include a first reading of job descriptions. Informational updates will also be provided regarding camps and overnight trips, along with graduate programs of study. The meeting will conclude with public and Board member comments/questions and adjournment.

Board Policy 0169.1 - Public Participation at Board Meetings

  • Public participation shall be permitted as indicated on the order of business.
  • Attendees must register their intention to participate in the public portion of the meeting upon their arrival at the meeting.
  • Participants must be recognized by the presiding officer and will be requested to preface their comments by an announcement of their name, address, and group affiliation, if and when appropriate.
  • Each statement made by a participant shall be limited to three (3) minutes duration, unless extended by the presiding officer.
  • No participant may speak more than once on the same topic unless all others who wish to speak on that topic have been heard.
  • All statements shall be directed to the presiding officer; no person may address or question Board members individually.

I.  Information Only

  1. Camps and Overnight Trips

Camps:

  • Pickerington High School Central will host a Lady Tigers Basketball Camp between the dates June 8th-10th at Pickerington Central High School Main Gym for students in grades 3-8. The cost is $75 per camper.  This is a PLSD sponsored event. No District funds are used for camps.
     
  • Pickerington Central Tigers will host the Little Tiger Football Camp between the dates July 20th-22nd at Pickerington Central Field House and Practice Field for students in grades 1-8. The cost is $50 per camper. This camp is sponsored by the Tiger QB Club. No District funds are used for camps.

Overnight Trip

  • Pickerington High School North Varsity Girls Golf will travel to Sandusky, OH on August 12 and 13, 2026. No PLSD funds will be used. This trip will be funded by the PHSN Lady Parbusters boosters group and parents.

Graduate Programs of Study

An application for a graduate program of study has been received from Nancy Gdovin, Fairfield Elementary 3rd grade teacher who wishes to pursue a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University with an estimated completion time of 2 years.
