Meeting Agenda

At tonight’s Regular Board Business Meeting, the Board will begin with opening items followed by recognitions, including Pickerington Pride Awards honoring students from Lakeview Junior High and Pickerington Central Junior High.

The agenda includes public participation, the Superintendent’s Update, and the Treasurer’s Report, along with consideration of the March 9, 2026 meeting minutes, financial resolutions, and donations.

The Board will consider approval of the consent agenda, including personnel recommendations and supplemental contracts, as well as early graduation requests.

Items for discussion and action include second readings of the 2026–2027 student handbooks, job descriptions, and Board policy, along with approval of substitute pay rates, the FY27 Master Service Agreement with META Solutions, and a resolution related to the Diley Middle School renovation project.

Additional items include a first reading of the 2026–2027 elementary and middle school fees and informational updates on camps, overnight trips, and a student robotics team qualifying for the VEX Robotics World Championship.

  1. Camps and Overnight Trips

Camp

  • Pickerington High School North will host a Girls Basketball Camp June 1-4, 2026. This camp is open to girls entering grades 3rd-8th for the 2026-2027 school year. The cost of this camp is $90. This is a PLSD sponsored event

Overnight Trips

  • Pickerington High School Central Varsity Baseball team will travel to Clarksville, TN on March 30-April 3, 2026. No PLSD funds will be used. This trip will be funded by the PHSC Diamond Club and parents.
  • The 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship will be held April 21–30, 2026, at the America's Center Convention Complex in St. Louis. This international competition brings together top student-led robotics teams from around the world, with divisions for VEX V5 High School (April 21–24), VEX U and V5 Middle School (April 25–27), and VEX IQ (April 28–30). Pickerington High School Central Robotics Club has qualified one team to compete at the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship. Travel expenses for this team will be funded through Career Technical Education (CTE) funds, club fees, and sponsorships. Pickerington Central Junior High Robotics has also qualified one team to compete. Travel expenses for this team will be partially funded through Career Technical Education (CTE) funds and parent contributions.
